These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of limousine and chauffeured transportation services (“Services”) provided by Tour Rider Limos. By confirming a booking as a customer, or by registering as a driver/affiliate with Tour Rider Limos, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
1. Reservations & Payment
All reservations must be confirmed via phone, email, or our website.
A 20% deposit is required to secure all bookings.
Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated in writing.
Hourly services are billed in 30-minute increments after the initial minimum time commitment.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
We require a minimum of 72 hours’ advance notice for cancellations to avoid charges.
There is a no-refund policy on cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled service date.
No-shows will be charged the full fare, including any applicable fees.
3. Wait Time and Overtime
Airport Transfers: Includes 15 minutes of complimentary wait time for domestic flights and 30 minutes for international flights after the scheduled landing.
Non-Airport Pickups: 10 minutes of complimentary wait time is included.
Any additional time is charged in 30-minute increments at the current hourly rate.
4. Booking Changes & Modifications
Post-Booking Adjustments: Any changes to the original itinerary (e.g., additional stops, change in destination, or extended time) made after a vehicle has been booked or dispatched may require extra charges.
Consent: By requesting a change in plan, the customer acknowledges and agrees to pay the adjusted fare and any supplemental fees associated with the modification.
5. Client Conduct & Vehicle Care
Prohibited Items: Smoking, vaping, and consumption of illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
Vomit/Biohazard Fee: A minimum $250 sanitization fee applies to any biohazard or interior sickness incidents to cover professional cleaning and vehicle downtime.
General Damage: Excessive mess, spills, or physical damage to the vehicle will incur cleaning or repair fees billed to the client.
Termination: Tour Rider reserves the right to terminate service without refund if passenger behavior is deemed illegal, unsafe, or abusive.
6. Child Safety Seats
Parental Responsibility: It is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian to provide and properly install age-appropriate child safety seats.
Liability: Tour Rider and its drivers are not responsible for the installation of child seats. This protects the company from liability regarding incorrect installation.
7. Driver & Affiliate Obligations
Communication of Rules: Drivers are liable to relay all specific rules and regulations regarding the usage of their vehicles to the customers upon pickup.
Affiliate Pricing: Drivers/Affiliates agree to provide pricing that is close to their original rates. The submission of outrageous or predatory pricing is strictly prohibited.
Document Authenticity: All drivers/affiliates warrant that all documents provided during and after registration (licenses, insurance, permits) are genuine, valid, and up to date.
8. Liability Disclaimer
General Liability: Tour Rider is not liable for delays due to traffic, weather, mechanical breakdowns, or circumstances beyond our control.
Scope of Responsibility: Tour Rider is directly liable only for drivers directly associated with the company. Tour Rider is not directly responsible for mishaps, negligence, or service issues on the part of independent third-party drivers or affiliates.
Personal Items: Tour Rider is not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items.
9. Vehicle Substitution
Tour Rider reserves the right to upgrade or substitute vehicles with comparable or superior models at no extra cost to the client if necessary.
10. Non-Payment and Collection Policy
A late fee of 1.5% per month (18% annually) will be applied to any outstanding balance not paid within 30 days of the invoice date.
The client agrees to pay all reasonable costs associated with the collection of unpaid amounts, including attorney’s fees and court costs, as permitted under New York Civil Practice Law and Rules (CPLR).
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in New York County, NY.
12. Amendments
Tour Rider reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Users (Clients and Drivers) are subject to the terms in effect at the time of their reservation or active registration.
